Soccer Game Preview: Emerald Ridge vs. Grandview

The Emerald Ridge Jaguars will take on the Grandview Greyhounds at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Emerald Ridge's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Emerald Ridge fell victim to Silas and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Jaguars' first of the season.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Grandview was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Sunnyside could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

With that draw, Grandview's record moves to 2-0-1. As for Emerald Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Everything went Emerald Ridge's way against Grandview in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, as Emerald Ridge made off with a 3-0 win. Will Emerald Ridge repeat their success, or does Grandview have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
