Soccer Recap: Raleigh-Egypt Comes Up Short

Raleigh-Egypt was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Kirby Cougars. While losing is never fun, Raleigh-Egypt can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 300th, while Kirby are ranked 126th).

Raleigh-Egypt's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Kirby, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Raleigh-Egypt nor Kirby have any future games scheduled.
