Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Conway Christian). They put the hurt on Baptist Prep with a sharp 22-11 win on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Conway Christian as they're now sitting on six straight.

Isaiah Brister was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing Three bases. while going 5-for-6. Another player making a difference was Hudson Wheeler, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Conway Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Baptist Prep only posted an OBP of .465.

Conway Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Baptist Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 7-1 record.

Looking ahead, Conway Christian will challenge St. Joseph at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in St. Joseph's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last five contests. As for Baptist Prep, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Baptist Prep Eagles duke it out with McGehee Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. They have given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
