Basketball Game Preview: Brillion Lions vs. Seymour Thunder

The Brillion Lions and the Seymour Thunder will round out the year against one another at at 1:40 p.m. on Friday. Brillion knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Seymour likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Brillion humbled New Holstein with a 79-47 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 32 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Seymour was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 76-70 to West De Pere.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Brillion, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything went Brillion's way against Seymour when the teams last played back in December of 2023, as Brillion made off with a 68-42 win. Does Brillion have another victory up their sleeve, or will Seymour turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
