Softball Recap: Roncalli Comes Up Short

If Roncalli was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Reedsville on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jets wound up with the same score they had in their last game (13-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Roncalli now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Valders, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5.

Roncalli wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-1 loss against Brillion on the 29th. As for Valders, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sheboygan Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.82 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
