The West Johnston Wildcats will face off against the West Brunswick Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

West Johnston managed to slip by South Johnston the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wildcats came up short against the Trojans on Friday, falling 35-15. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-7.

Meanwhile, West Brunswick posted their closest win since October 25, 2024 two weeks ago. They had just enough and edged out Ashley 24-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

West Brunswick's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Jamon Holmes and Trey Evans, who each picked up one interception apiece.

West Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for West Johnston, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
