Basketball Recap: RHAM Comes Up Short

RHAM was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 54-42 to the Ledyard Colonels. While losing is never fun, the Raptors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Colonels are ranked 19th).

RHAM's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ledyard, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

RHAM has already played their next game (against Enfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Ledyard will challenge New London at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
