Volleyball Recap: Greene County Tech Comes Up Short

Greene County Tech came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Valley View Blazers, falling 3-0. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Blazers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-6, 25-18.

Greene County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Valley View, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Greene County Tech will challenge rival Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Valley View is set to take on their familiar foe Batesville at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
