Basketball Recap: Greenhill's Run of Three Straight Victories Now Over

After flying high against Uplift Ascend Prep on Monday, Greenhill came back down to earth. The Hornets took a 45-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the BigTyme Prep Academy Bears on Friday. The contest marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

BigTyme Prep Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Shephard led the charge by putting up 15 points. Z'Von King was another key player, posting eight points.

Greenhill moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for BigTyme Prep Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.
