Baseball Recap: Trimble Tech Find Success

Trimble Tech's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Saginaw Rough Riders by a score of 9-5.

Alberto Monreal spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Trimble Tech got a big performance out of Bo Quinonez, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Samuel Avitia also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Trimble Tech's record is now 4-6. As for Saginaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Trimble Tech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Palo Duro on the 5th. As for Saginaw, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Burleson on the 5th.
