Recap: People's Prep vs. Great Oaks
People's Prep's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 61-52 to Great Oaks. The game was a 34-34 toss-up at halftime, but People's Prep was outscored by Great Oaks in the second.
Olorunose Jaiyesimi was on fire for Great Oaks: he scored 24 points. Another player making a difference was Chikwadom Amadi, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds.
People's Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Great Oaks, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. People's Prep will square off against American History at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Great Oaks, they will head out on the road to face off against Cherry Hill East at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
