Vance Charter has gone a perfect 10-0 against Franklin Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Patriots at 4:00 p.m. Vance Charter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.3 runs per game this season.
While Vance Charter's victory against Wake Prep Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights skirted past the Guardians 4-3. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Guardians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Aubrey Puryear, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakota Dickerson, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Meanwhile, Franklin Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Falls Lake, falling 14-3. That's two games in a row now that the Patriots have lost by exactly 11 runs.
Iliana Rodriguez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Paige Shriver was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Vance Charter's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Franklin Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
Franklin Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Vance Charter hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .356. It's a different story for Franklin Academy, though, as they've only averaged .234. Will they be able to contain Vance Charter's hitters?
