Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Beats Edwardsville for Their Third Straight Victory

St. Francis had won two straight games and Addi Samolinski did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Spartans came out on top against the Edwardsville Tigers by a score of 2-0 thanks in part to Samolinski, who had 11 digs and one assist. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Edwardsville, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, St. Francis is taking a road trip to face off against Saint Ignatius College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Edwardsville, they will venture away from home to square off against Belleville East at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
