Basketball Recap: Smiths Station Gets the Win

Smiths Station's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 38-27 win over the Eufaula Tigers. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Smiths Station had a senior duo take command as Shamiya Oliver dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards and Chantell Barnes dropped a double-double on 13 points and 13 rebounds. Oliver also set a new season-high mark in steals with four.

Smiths Station's record is now 6-1. As for Eufaula, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Smiths Station will face off against Shaw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Smiths Station is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Eufaula, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Eufaula Tigers face off against the Enterprise Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
