Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central lost against South Paulding back in April of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Central Lions lost 6-1 to the South Paulding Spartans. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Their goal came courtesy of Peyton Presley, who's now up to ten this season.

Central's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-8. As for South Paulding, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Central is taking a road trip to face off against Griffin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Paulding, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against New Manchester at 7:30 p.m. South Paulding is facing New Manchester at the right time seeing as New Manchester is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
