Basketball Recap: Lake of the Woods Takes a Loss

Lake of the Woods lost against Blackduck back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lake of the Woods Bears were beaten by the Blackduck Drakes 66-34. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake of the Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Blackduck, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Lake of the Woods has already played their next game, a 74-36 loss against Pine River-Backus on the 31st. As for Blackduck, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-37 defeat against Kelliher/Northome on the 31st.
