Kason Nelson Game Report: @ Wheaton

Kason Nelson, Exeter's leader in doubles on the season, led the team again on Monday. Nelson scored four runs and stole seven bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has become a key player for Exeter: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-11 otherwise.

Coming up, Nelson and Exeter will challenge Hurley at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last time Nelson duked it out with Hurley (back in May of 2024), Exeter came out on top by a score of 2-0.
