Baseball Recap: Williams Bulldogs vs. Southeast Alamance Stallions        
        
		
            
 Williams put the finishing touches on their seventh blowout victory of the season  on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Southeast Alamance Stallions  a   10-0 shutout. The  victory was familiar territory for Williams who now have three in a row.
  Vince Coker made a splash no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Coker was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with three  runs and a  triple.
 In other batting news,  Dan Mahan was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Aiden Pulliam, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Williams has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. As for Southeast Alamance, their defeat was  their seventh straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 4-14.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Williams will take on Western Alamance at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Williams will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  matchup than the last. As for Southeast Alamance, they will be playing at home against Graham at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. Southeast Alamance is facing Graham at the right time seeing as Graham is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
