Soccer Recap: Dyer County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Dyer County came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Dyersburg Trojans, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for Dyer County in their meetings with Dyersburg: they've now lost six in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dyer County fell to 2-1. As for Dyersburg, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dyer County will venture away from home to take on South Gibson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gibson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Dyer County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dyersburg, they will head out to challenge Henry County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
