Football Recap: Ooltewah Owls vs. Soddy Daisy Trojans
Friday just wasn't the day for Ooltewah's offense. They were dealt a 28-0 defeat at the hands of the Soddy Daisy Trojans on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.
Tucker Ross went supernova for Soddy Daisy, rushing for 135 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also throwing for 57 yards and a touchdown on only five passes. Ross got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 77 yards.
Ooltewah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Soddy Daisy, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-0.
