Basketball Game Preview: Arlington/Lake Preston vs. James Valley Christian Vikings

Arlington/Lake Preston will head out to square off against the James Valley Christian Vikings on Thursday. Arlington/Lake Preston has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 30.

Last Thursday, Arlington/Lake Preston had to suffer through a 65-25 loss at the hands of Deubrook.

Meanwhile, James Valley Christian suffered their biggest defeat since January 9th on Saturday. They came up short against Estelline/Hendricks, falling 86-62. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Estelline/Hendricks are ranked 31st).

James Valley Christian dropped their record down to 9-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points over those games. As for Arlington/Lake Preston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
