Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial's tournament run continued when they took on Century on Friday. The Patriots fell just short of the Diamondbacks by a score of 2-1.

Kennedy Harris paced Centennial's offense, picking up seven kills. Harris got some help from Meghan Lawless and her nine assists. Harris was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Century, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Centennial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Wood River on the 23rd. Hopefully Century paid attention to the Patriots' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
