Meanwhile, Lakes earned a 2-0 win over Grant Community on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lakes was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-15.

Warren Township's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Lakes, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.
