Recap: Menendez Falcons vs. Bolles Bulldogs
The Menendez Falcons suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were dealt a 65-32 loss at the hands of Bolles. Menendez has struggled against Bolles recently, as their match on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Ella Stakem continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bolles, scoring 15 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Knauff, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Menendez's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Bolles, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.
Menendez and Palatka will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Palatka will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Menendez is ranked 120th). As for Bolles, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
