Volleyball Game Preview: Evergreen Valley Cougars vs. Independence 76ers

Evergreen Valley is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Independence a six-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Evergreen Valley Cougars will look to defend their home court against the Independence 76ers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Evergreen Valley lost 3-0 to Leigh on Tuesday.

Evergreen Valley took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Independence came up short against Leland on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 25-16.

Evergreen Valley now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 4-17.

Evergreen Valley skirted past Independence 3-2 in their previous meeting back in March. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the 76ers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
