Anderson came tearing into Monday's matchup with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Liberty Christian Lions with points to spare, taking the game 78-61. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-51 back in November of 2024.

Anderson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaron Morgan led the charge by going 8 for 14 en route to 25 points and three steals. Morgan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Damien King was another key player, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds.

Anderson pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.7 points per game. As for Liberty Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

Anderson will head out on the road to challenge Lafayette Jefferson at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette Jefferson will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Anderson surely won't give up without a fight. Liberty Christian has already played their next contest (against Tindley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
