Volleyball Recap: Norwell Falls Short of Huntington North in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Norwell can now relate to. They fell just short of the Huntington North Vikings by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Norwell and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Huntington North, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Norwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Huntington North, they will face off against Homestead at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
