Basketball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo lost against Caney back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tupelo Tigers took a 31-26 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Caney Cougars. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tupelo's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Caney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-10.

Tupelo will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Allen at 6:30 p.m. on January 31st. As for Caney, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Caney Cougars take on the Coleman Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
