Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corona). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the King Wolves a 22-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Panthers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Mason Sims looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Trey Ebel and Brady Ebel did most of the damage at the plate: Trey went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Brady scored four runs while going 4-for-5. Those four RBI gave Trey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jesiah Andrade, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.

Corona lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as King didn't launched any home runs.

Corona's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for King, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Corona will have a chance to go back-to-back against King: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
