Basketball Recap: TECH Freire Charter Drops Highest Score of Season Against Penn Treaty

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask TECH Freire Charter). They secured a 74-69 W over the Penn Treaty Wolves on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dragons considering their 30-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, Penn Treaty still got an impressive performance from Heavon Washington, who posted 41 points. That was a full 59.4% of Penn Treaty's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Williamson-Brown, who earned 14 points.

TECH Freire Charter has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Penn Treaty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

TECH Freire Charter won't have much time to rest: their next game is against George Washington at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Penn Treaty does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
