Basketball Recap: Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Comes Up Short

After flying high against Biggsville West Central last Friday, Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] came back down to earth. The Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans lost 64-43 to the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars on Tuesday. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-10.

When it comes to explaining why Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] lost, don't look at Roy Sandberg. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. Sandberg's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Brenden Bolduc was another key player, putting up eight points.

Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] now has a losing record at 13-14. As for ROWVA/Williamsfield, their win bumped their record up to 8-19.
