Wake Forest strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They never let the Millbrook Wildcats get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Cougars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Nova Pate was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and one double. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abbey Lauer, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Wake Forest hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in seven consecutive contests.

Wake Forest's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Millbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
