Volleyball Recap: Hampton Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the StoneBridge Cavaliers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cavaliers this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on October 3rd.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-3, 25-8.

Whitney Howard was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight aces and three digs. Those eight aces gave her a new career-high.

Hampton Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-24. As for StoneBridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 33-0.

Hampton Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for StoneBridge, they will face off against Denbigh Baptist Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
