She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
In other pitching news, Lily Ruckle looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season.
Back at the plate, Lauren Goodman was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Katelyn Cheely, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.
Louisa County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Western Albemarle, their record is now 7-3.
