It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crest can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 72-26 loss at the hands of the North Lincoln Knights. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 283rd in North Carolina, while the Knights are ranked 47th in North Carolina).

North Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ally Smith led the charge by going 8-for-16 en route to 20 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
