Soccer Recap: Stone Ridge Christian Takes a Loss

Stone Ridge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Le Grand Bulldogs, falling 10-0. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 last Tuesday.

Stone Ridge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Le Grand, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7-1.

Stone Ridge Christian will head out to face off against Waterford at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Waterford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Le Grand, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Gustine at 5:00 p.m. Le Grand will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.
