Soccer Recap: Westwood Comes Up Short

After flying high against Trinity last Tuesday, Westwood came back down to earth. The Westwood Panthers came up short against the Crockett Bulldogs on Monday, falling 6-2. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-2 defeat back in February.

Knowledge Boadu and Julio Hernandez scored both of Westwood's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Westwood dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Crockett, their win bumped their record up to 11-9-2.

Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crockett, they will square off against Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Henderson will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Crockett surely won't give up without a fight.
