Banning Lewis Academy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors by a score of 2-0.

Alexis Schoofs paced Banning Lewis Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Schoofs got some help from Alyson Martinez and her six assists. Schoofs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Banning Lewis Academy's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
