Basketball Recap: Berkeley Springs Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Berkeley Springs can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Keyser Golden Tornado and fell 66-23. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Golden Tornado are ranked 25th).

Berkeley Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 15 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season. The win was the fourth in a row for Keyser, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Berkeley Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Keyser, they will take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
