Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Takes a Loss

Eastern Randolph fell victim to Northwood and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent loss being a 12-0 defeat back in March.

Eastern Randolph has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Northwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-9.

Eastern Randolph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwood, they are taking a road trip to face off against Uwharrie Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
