Mexia won the last time they faced Marlin and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mexia Black Cats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marlin Bulldogs, sneaking past 3-2.

Mexia has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-11 record this season. Marlin is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mexia will welcome Meyer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mexia is facing Meyer at the right time seeing as Meyer is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marlin, they will challenge Harmony Science Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Marlin will be up against Harmony Science Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.87 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
