Basketball Recap: Cardinal Comes Up Short

Cardinal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Berkshire Badgers 55-23. The Huskies were probably out for revenge after losing 66-35 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cardinal's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Berkshire, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Cardinal will square off against Kirtland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Berkshire, they will face off against Crestwood at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. Crestwood knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Berkshire likes a good challenge.
