After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Guilfoyle, Huntingdon was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 28-27 photo finish over the Clearfield Bison. The game was the first time the Bearcats have beaten the Bison on their field since September 15, 2017.

Leading Huntingdon to victory were Elliott Guisler and Landon Erdman. Guisler rushed for 70 yards and one touchdown, while Erdman rushed for 124 yards and one TD on only 15 carries. What's more, Guisler racked up 76 passing yards, the most he's had since back in August of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Clearfield lost, don't look at Colton Ryan. Despite the final result, he rushed for 169 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 83 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Huntingdon's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Clearfield, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Huntingdon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 49-19 victory against Central on the 26th. As for Clearfield, they have also already played their next contest, a 46-14 win against Penns Valley Area on the 26th.
