Softball Recap: Dexter Comes Up Short

Dexter fell victim to Clearwater and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 29-0 to the Fightin' Tigers. The Bearcats have struggled against the Fightin' Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Dexter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Clearwater, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dexter will head out to challenge Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clearwater, they will face off against West County at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
