Football Recap: Marianna Comes Up Short on the Road Against Walton

Marianna had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 33-6 loss at the hands of the Walton Braves on Friday. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-0.

Marianna and Walton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the field they'll take on Maclay at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Walton, their break will end when they face Holmes County at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
