Dimond faced Chugiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lynx were the clear victors by a 6-1 margin over the Mustangs. Considering Dimond have won 12 games by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Dimond and bumps their season record up to 14-1-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matches. As for Chugiak, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Dimond will challenge rival Service at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Dimond have won five straight at home, while Service won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
