Allison Baston was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Lakeland Christian posted their closest win since February 25th on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Santa Fe Catholic 4-3.
The team relied heavily on Cali Thornton, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs. Paityn Donalson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.
Seffner Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Lakeland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.
Lakeland Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Seffner Christian has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.8 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lakeland Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 strikeouts. Will Seffner Christian keep running through batters, or will the Vikings buck the trend?
