Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Hudson Mcalvey and Logan Mcalvey Lead Fellowship Baptist Academy to Victory

Fellowship Baptist Academy lost to Sacred Heart Academy back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Fellowship Baptist Academy Falcons snuck past Sacred Heart Academy with a 48-44 victory.

Leading Fellowship Baptist Academy to victory were Logan McAlvey and Hudson McAlvey. Logan dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 boards, while Hudson went 6 of 14 on his way to 16 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Logan is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.

Fellowship Baptist Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Sacred Heart Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Fellowship Baptist Academy will square off against Algoma Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Algoma Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Fellowship Baptist Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sacred Heart Academy, they will take on Creative Technologies Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacred Heart Academy is facing Creative Technologies Academy at the right time seeing as Creative Technologies Academy is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
