Basketball Recap: Timberland Takes a Loss

Timberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost to the Stratford Knights at home by a 57-43 margin. The Wolves were probably out for revenge after losing 60-51 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Stratford found their leader in sophomore Herman Smith, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Smith, who had eight points.

Timberland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Stratford, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Timberland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-50 loss against Fort Dorchester on the 11th. As for Stratford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-46 defeat against Denmark-Olar on the 11th.
