Football Game Preview: Bayside Bears vs. Cocoa Beach Minutemen + How To Watch

The Bayside Bears will square off against the Cocoa Beach Minutemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Bayside and four for Cocoa Beach.

Bayside's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Okeechobee on Friday. They came up short against the Brahmans, falling 22-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Cocoa Beach scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of Foundation Academy by a score of 37-34. The contest was a 20-20 toss-up at halftime, but the Minutemen couldn't quite close it out.

Bayside will have to contain Remy Vigne as he made an impact in Cocoa Beach's last game. He rushed for 21 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 198 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes. Arturo Stanley got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Cocoa Beach's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Bayside, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-7.

Bayside beat Cocoa Beach 21-14 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Minutemen have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
